Waking up in this darkened world you already feel your short life ticking away. You are doomed to wander until you fade out for good…unless you find the way out of this wretched loop by reaching the top of the Clocktower. Find scribblings on notes from the past to give you hints to progress upwards, but know fully well that each time you succumb to the golems patrolling these halls you return to the bottom again. Echoes of a former life still whisper if you know where to look.

How to Play

Move: WASD

Attack: Left mouse click

Climb: W or Space

Drop from platforms: Rapidly press two times "S"

Rewind time: R

Note: This game is highly incomplete and may contain bugs, unfinished features, and placeholder content. It was developed entirely from scratch in just 4 days using Lua and LÖVE2D, without the use of any pre-built game engines. Expect a rough experience—this is a raw prototype created for a game jam, not a polished product.

This game is inspired by deadcells (therefore the name)
